This is the little town near Metz that we visited today. We were the only American soldiers in town and were treated royally. The people talk German and it was quite a change for us. We are going up again next week. Will write you again tomorrow, Sid.

Was up near Metz today and bought a few views. We are not allowed in the town for some reason or other. It is occupied by French troops now. Love to all, Sid.
