December 25. 1918 : (Xmas) War Diary: Christmas treats

Spent part of the morning with Hornbeck, Layer, Corrigan & Hughson [rearranging] tables & decorating upper room for Xmas dinner. Everything was fine and we had a dandy Xmas dinner. Capt. Brady sang a song for us. Officers gave speeches and we had a nice program. Marched to "Y" at 2:15 p.m. for a little donation, cigars & cigarettes, candy, soup and cup of cocoa. When we got back I issued candy and P.A. tobacco and we went upstairs and had an old fashion  square dance. Had a real live time.
