Oct 22, 1918 (Guer) War Diary: loading up

(for map of Guer click here)

Had 28 men working last night till 9 p.m. loading up wagons in preparation for leaving for the front tomorrow. Made up our rolls & stacked them outside the barracks. Then we "policed up" several times. Put our pack rolls on carriages and carried our haversack rolls to Guer 4 miles away. Loaded up after having supper & everything went off fine. Pulled out about 9 p.m. About 15 in our box car including 2 medics.
