Oct 25, 1918 War Diary: setting up camp, drinking wine and cognac

Busy nearly all day building sidewalks, setting up stoves and drinking wine. People very congenial. A bunch of the boys are stewed tonight and trying to pick a fight. Funny what this cognac will do for a man. It will make a man fight a wild cat.
